Technology

Harnessing new technology and innovations to develop and expand the European economy is one of the three main priorities of my work. Combined with the other two – high-quality education and a competitive business environment – it will provide a new sense of opportunity for highly-qualified and entrepreneurial citizens across Europe.

The Faces of Bulgarian Talent

Supporting talented young Bulgarians in a variety of fields, from science to business to politics, is a key component of my work. I want to unequivocally show how proud we are of our successful role-models, and of the incredible work they do to change perceptions of Bulgaria in the European Community.

I represent Bulgaria’s GERB and the European People’s Party in the European Parliament since July 2014. I am a member of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE), as well as the trade delegations to Japan and the United States. I am also a substitute member on the Committee for Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON). In 2017 I was elected President of the European Movement International. I serve as the Coordinator of the Young Members’ Network of the EPP Group in the European Parliament. I am a vice-president of SME Europe as well as initiator and co-founder of Education Bulgaria 2030.
