Over the past couple of years, Eva Maydell and her team have been on the forefront of a number of projects across Bulgaria and beyond.
Along with advancing her three main priorities – high-quality education, entrepreneurship and technology – they aim to inspire Europeans to be proactive in ensuring the continuous prosperity of their continent.
On April 22nd, 2018, at the heart of the European capital, Eva Maydell led the traditional sixth annual Bulgarian Grand Horo for a second consecutive year.
A tradition set by the former vice-president of the European Commission Kristalina Georgieva in 2014, this year’s edition enjoyed the support of the Representatives of the European Parliament and the European Commission in Brussels, as well as the President of the European Parliament Antonio Tajani. The Grand Horo in 2018 was added to the official cultural programme of Bulgaria’s presidency of the the Council of the European Union.
The national Skills Campaign is a new project to facilitate collaboration between Bulgarian businesses, schools and local authorities, in order to enhance the skills of young people by providing educational placements with local companies.
